Buddha and the Bodhi Tree
A few days ago we stopped by a Buddhist temple in Nuuanu which is near the house where we are staying.
Buddha achieved enlightenment under the Bodhi tree and while this one is not a descendant of the original tree, there is another Bodhi tree in Foster Gardens, Honolulu which is descendant of the original tree.
