The Adventures of Shatoosh and Pashmina

Shatoosh, an Albin 25 HN 1124, and Pashmina, a 9 foot Porta Bote have cruised over 8,500nm on 70 navigable waterways in the California Delta, the Columbia, Snake, Willamette Rivers and the Salish Sea of Washington and British Columbia. In 2011 they crossed the Columbia River bar to cruise the Washington coast and in 2012 they replicated Peter Puget's 1792 exploration of the southern waters of Puget Sound. In 2015 and 2016 the boats were sold. In 2018 Shatoosh was sold again and is in AZ.

A Quick Note

21 June 2010 Monday:
We have not been in cell range much, and am far behind in blogging. Came through McNary Lock yesterday at 1530 and met up with rving friends. They had a wonderful dinner waiting for us, which saved our lives. We are holding up this morning waiting out heavy 20 knot winds down river in Arlington. Might depart later and move down to Irigon which has light winds. Irigon is sm 283 and Umatilla(where we are) is at sm 290. Cloudy but clearing down river. What a trip.
