Care has made some fun trips with me. We headed up river to the Bonneville dam and climbed Beacon Rock, cruised the Gilbert River, the Willamette River above the locks to Newburg, OR and discovered a family of owls on Coon Island one evening. She, too is an ole army buddy of 40+ years. She cruised on Shatoosh in the delta one day and evening. She brings skills of a master birder that are fun to experience when looking at all the birds in the areas. She has run the Blue Bird Project on McChord AFB, Tacoma Wa for about 20 years.
